FWR
I Remember

I recall flight
I once flew
I caught the light
As birds do

My wings reach
And stretch wide
They sweep and teach
The gull to glide

I skim the wave
I scan the earth
I fall to my grave
From nested birth

I walked on wing
I dipped and soared
I knew the thing
My dreams record

My songs to you
Rose on the night
We once flew
We knew flight
